International Accountability Project produces Community Action Guides with local activists and partners on starting or strengthening grassroots campaigns.

The Community Action Guide on Community-Led Research provides concrete, step-by-step guidance on how communities can lead their own research to determine their own development priorities and respond to unwanted development projects. People and communities should play a leadership role in determining their own development. First-hand knowledge equips them with experiences and expertise to create campaigns and policy solutions that truly work. The guide provides practical tips, tools, and activities on conducting community-led research, information on safety and security, and the stories of three community organisers who used community-led research to support community advocacy.
