Front Line Defenders has developed a Workbook on Security with practical steps for human rights defenders (HRDs) at risk. The Workbook is based on Front Line Defenders’ Protection Manual for Human Rights Defenders and has been inspired by the hundreds of HRDs from over 50 countries who have attended their workshops on security and protection.
The Workbook on Security overviews the steps to produce a security plan for individual HRDs and/or their organisations. It follows a systematic approach for assessing the security situation and developing risk and vulnerability reduction strategies and tactics.
